About Heidi

Heidi O’Neill is a global brand and consumer leader with more than two decades of experience driving growth through product innovation, digital transformation, and powerful brand connection. During her career at Nike, she helped guide the company’s rise from a $9B business to a $50B+ global leader.

O’Neill built Nike’s women’s business from a sub-category into a multi-billion-dollar engine, ultimately tripling revenue. She most recently served as President, leading and resetting the value chain spanning sport categories, innovation, product, merchandising, and brand and sports marketing. Throughout her career, the focus remained constant: serve consumers better and build lasting, profitable growth. In this role, she strengthened leadership in critical categories, including Global Football and Running, rebuilt the product pipeline, and introduced new ways of working that accelerated time to market by up to 18 months.

Her leadership helped launch NikeSKIMS and relaunch All Conditions Gear, anchored by a multi-game Olympic commitment throughout global markets. Her leadership advanced innovation platforms such as Nike Air and helped usher in a new era of direct consumer connection. Among her most significant contributions was championing brand-led connected platforms, including the Nike App and SNKRS, creating deeper, more personal relationships with millions of members. She helped transform Nike Direct into a powerful growth engine, accelerating omnichannel capabilities and digital commerce worldwide.

Widely recognized for co-creating culture, building strong teams, and leading organizations through change with optimism and focus, she serves on the boards of three publicly traded companies: Spotify, Hyatt, and Lithia Motors. Her work today centers on partnering with leaders shaping the future of consumer engagement, experiential retail, and brand-led growth. She was a founding board member and executive sponsor of the Nike School Innovation Fund and served on the advisory board for the Jordan Brand. She is deeply engaged in nonprofit leadership, serving with organizations including Children’s Cancer Association’s JoyRx and the Cascade AIDS Project.

Outside the boardroom, she is married and a mother of two who enjoys fashion and design, time in the outdoors, and fly fishing and traveling whenever she can.
